Who is responsible for your information

This website is operated by Shubham Kashyap, an independent full-stack developer based in India. Questions about this policy or your personal information can be sent to contact@buildbykashyap.in.

Information collected

When you submit the contact form, the website collects your name, email address, optional company name, project type, budget range, timeline, and the message you provide.

The enquiry record also includes operational details such as its submission time, email-verification status, and whether a reply has been recorded. The form uses a hidden anti-spam field and a form-render timestamp to help reject automated submissions.

For site measurement, one anonymous visit record may include the landing path, UTM campaign values, referring website host, edge-provided country code, and visit time. It does not include your IP address, browser fingerprint, name, email, or a persistent visitor identifier.

How the information is used

Your information is used to verify your email address, review and respond to your enquiry, discuss potential work, maintain an accurate record of correspondence, and protect the website from spam or misuse.

Your information is not sold. It is not used for advertising profiles or unrelated marketing campaigns.

Email verification and service providers

A verification message is sent to the address you provide before the enquiry is treated as confirmed. Transactional email is delivered through Zoho Mail.

Website and enquiry data is processed using service providers that support hosting, database storage, email delivery, and site operations. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and may process it in the locations where they operate.

Local storage and cookies

The public website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. If Meta Pixel or Google Tag Manager is configured, it is loaded only after you choose Allow analytics; that choice is also stored locally and can be reset by clearing this site's browser storage.

Advertising measurement may receive page-view, call-to-action, and successful lead events after consent. Contact-form field values are not sent to those tools.

The private admin area stores a short-lived authentication token in local storage after the administrator signs in. This does not apply to ordinary public visitors.

Connected social accounts

The administrator can connect this website's own Facebook Page and Instagram professional account so that new articles can be shared to them. Connecting an account stores that account's name, its identifier on the platform, the address of its profile picture, and an access token issued by that platform. The access token is encrypted before it is stored.

Those details are used only to publish posts written by the administrator in the private admin area. No follower, comment, message, audience, or insights data is requested or stored, and nothing about you as a visitor to this website is sent to Facebook or Instagram through this connection.

Disconnecting an account in the admin area deletes its stored token and details. Access can also be withdrawn at any time from the linked Facebook or Instagram account's own settings for connected apps. Retention and security

Enquiry information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage potential or active work, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and protect the website. Information that is no longer needed may be deleted or anonymised.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask what personal information is held about you and request correction or deletion where applicable. You may also withdraw a request to be contacted. Send requests to contact@buildbykashyap.in; identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

Third-party links and changes

This website may link to third-party websites such as GitHub or LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
